When the Japanese mend broken objects, they aggrandize the damage by filling the cracks with GOLD. They believe that when something’s suffered damage and has history it becomes more beautiful. Come enjoy a night with Hilarie as she teaches us about Kintsugi. We will begin with a tea ceremony and meditation, then repair an object provided by Hilarie. If you have a broken object of your own feel free to bring and have it looked at and assessed for repair. The objects provided will be appropriate for beginners. This is truly a night of art therapy. $50 refreshments provided.
