My passion is creating beautiful original artwork that uplifts and inspires.

I was raised in a family with artistic talent.  At an early age, I was encouraged to explore, , create and develop different forms of art.   I started drawing and have always enjoyed working with color.

I love going to aquariums and zoos.  Watching beautiful creations in colorful surroundings is what I enjoy most.  It has a way of calming my soul.

A couple of years ago, I started experimenting with alcohol ink and instantly fell in love with the vibrant color and abstract design.  Shortly after, I found another medium.  I started experimenting with pouring acrylic paint.  When done correctly, colorful cells magically form in wonderfully random swirls and patterns.  It quickly became my favorite.

I was commissioned to do a three-panel ocean beach painting and it had a lot of wasted paint that dripped off the edge.  It formed pools of paint that eventually dried and could be peeled off in small colorful sheets.  My friend Leslie suggested I figure out how to use the extra paint.  I create my favorite creatures from the extra paint and layer over the artwork to create a theme.  This is the beginning of my current style.
